About Kim-Leng Hills
I’m an English-Irish-Malaysian-Chinese-Siamese continentally confused British Photographer who has a lust for sunshine and wandering. I mostly dedicate my time to teaching/mentoring in England, specifically within education and in partnership with charity Teens Unite Fighting Cancer. I like going on filming/photographic excursions for my personal projects or commissions. Now and then I compose music for theatre, dance and music/spoken word artists.
I have a husky as my surrogate daughter. I’m inspired by life; I find it fascinating and beautiful, even when it hurts the most. Regional accents never fail to put a smile on my face, as do painfully awkward moments, or hearing people singing to themselves. We are all human, and it’s the tales from lives that should be shared that motivate me to do what I do — strangers passing by in fleeting glimpses teach the most important lessons at times.
