Founder and Director of Art Is The Cure, Rich Simmons had a hugely successful show recently at London’s Imitate Modern. Here’s the video (and a very rained-on drowned rat looking me hugging him at the end) made by Imitate Modern.
Rich’s work has now helped AITC become supported by blink-182 and we are now working closely with the wonderful Mark Hoppus. Thanks Mark!
An absolutely awesome, beautiful, poignant and inspiring film all shot candid from a London bus.
Watch it to the end. Trust me.

The irony beholds itself during rush hour.

This is an absolutely beautiful educational project created by my friend Imogen. Designed to help Educate 3-5 year olds in deprived boroughs of London, especially within English and Bangla bilingual communities.

For the next month, I’m shooting for a women in hiphop empowerment project. Visiting schools teaching girls about hiphop dance by some of the UK’s champion street dancers. I’ve been working with these girls for over a year now, and watching them teach is absolutely incredible.
For those of you who have seen the Will & Kate piece at the Southbank for AITC, here’s how Rich, Eska and G made it.
Here’s what we got up to today: an Art Is The Cure shoot for global press featuring a royal wedding piece for Will and Kate.
Incredible photographer Nicholas Adams visited us today at the Southbank skate park as we did a new Art Is The Cure stencil. Here’s his photo blog on the day!
The AITC is a group of individuals promoting the idea of Art as a form of therapy and today I spent a good few hours hanging around with them as they immortalized the Royal Wedding between William and Kate in a mash up of Freehand graffiti and stencils.
